I worked closely with Asim Salman, Awais Azhar, and Wiktor Öhman to create a free scene for the Fab marketplace, Derelict Corridor. I was personally responsible for the blue hallway, water shader, and the wall blend shader. Some of the assets like wall meshes, pipes, and cables had been previously built by some of Quixels other amazing artists such as Wiktor, Jakob, and Isac, who all have links below to their other works. I built out the blend shader on top of Jakob Keudel's work for the walls that utilize a newer UE feature called Mesh Texture Color Painting with nanite tessellation. This is an awesome alternative to vertex blending that utilizes a virtual texture method to bypass the limitations of vertex blending with instanced nanite static meshes.
